English as a Second Language (ESL)

Our English and Social Studies teacher has a PhD in History and a Bachelor of Education specializing in high school and junior high English and History. He has over 20 years of experience teaching at the university, high school, junior high, and elementary school levels. He is also a very experienced ESL teacher.

He can:

-       Create individualized lessons for students at any level of their educational career.

-       Teach how to write excellent 5 paragraph essays.

-       Teach fundamental writing skills needed to succeed at any level.

-       Design curriculum specifically geared for the needs of each student.

-       Prepare students for the English and Social Studies Diploma Exams.

-       Help students better understand literary terms, social studies jargon, poetry, Shakespeare, novels, and modern drama.
