IELTS Speaking Sample Answers - <Relaxing>

1. How do you like to relax?

I like to listen to music especially classical music. It makes me feel comfortable 

particularly after a long stressful day at work.

I enjoy reading and like detective fiction in particular. I really enjoy the Sherlock Holmes mysteries as well as the Detective Rebus stories by Ian Rankin.

I like to go out for coffee with my friends. Usually we go to Tim Horton's and catch up on 

all that has happened in the previous week. Usually we meet every Saturday morning.

2. Where do you like to relax?

Usually I relax in my study or occasionally in my bedroom. I have a CD player and a small library in my study and a TV in my bedroom. Both rooms are separated from the rest of 

the house so that I have peace and quiet.

I usually relax in the master bedroom. Often I take a short nap before preparing dinner. Sometimes I play soothing music which helps me rest.
