Speaking의 평가기준은 응시자의 영어구사능력, 적절하고 알맞은 문법과

어휘력을 평가하며 효과적으로 커뮤니케이션 할 수 있는가를 측정하는 시험입니다.

Test에서 다루어지는 Topic은 충분히 예측할 수 있는 기존의 기출문제 안에서

준비할 수 있는 내용이며 많은 연습이 필요합니다.

 

이번 주에는 Part 1에서는 vegetables & fruit 그리고 TV & radio & newspaper 에 관하여, Part 2, Part 3에서는 restaurant와 food 에 관하여 기출문제를 바탕으로 샘플답안을 올립니다.  샘플답안들은 저희 웹사이트 www.noble-academy.com 자유게시판에도 동시에 올리고 있습니다.

 

 

Part 1

 

내용 : 본인의 신상명세 및 개인생활에 대한 질문들이 나옵니다.

주의사항 : 의사소통에 중점을 두며 대화를 익숙하고 매끄럽게 이어가는 것이 중요합니다.

 

<vegetables & fruit>

 

1.      Do you like fruit and vegetables?  Why?

 

I like fruit and vegetables because they are good for our health. They have vitamin C, vitamin A, and many other vitamins and minerals. They also taste delicious!

 

2.      What advantages do fruit and vegetables have for children’s health?

 

Fruit and vegetables help children’s health by providing essential nutrients for growth. By eating these types of foods, children will become strong and healthy.

 

3.      What are the benefits of eating vegetables and fruit?

 

Fruit and vegetables promote healthy skin, bone, blood, nerves, eyes, and brain development. They are good for us but they are also very tasty!

 

4.      Is it convenient for you to buy fruit and vegetables?

 

Yes, it is convenient for me to buy fruit and vegetables. I usually buy them at CO-OP and Safeway. I also like to buy my fruit and vegetables from local farmer’s markets. I prefer to buy local produce when it is available.

 

5.      Why do you think fruit can make people feel refreshed?

 

I think that fruit can make people feel refreshed because fruit contains antioxidants which slow down and repair damage to body tissues.

 

 

<TV & radio & newspaper>

 

1.      What do you think about the TV compared to the radio?

 

I often listen to the radio in the car. The radio has good music and informative news but there are too many commercials. I prefer to watch TV when I am at home. It is very entertaining and relaxing.

 

2.      Which is more popular?

 

I think watching TV is more popular. It is more stimulating and entertaining. There are more options on TV compared to the radio.

 

3.      Where do you get news from?

 

I usually get news from the TV or the internet. I especially enjoy watching CTV News, because I can listen to local, national and international news.

 

Also, I read Korean weekly newspapers called CN Dream and Alberta Journal once a week. I can read about Korean and Canadian news.

 

4.      Do you listen to the radio more than you read the newspaper?

 

No, I usually read the newspaper more. I read Metro every day to get news about Calgary. However, I listen to the radio while I am driving and washing the dishes.

 

5.      What radio stations do you often listen to?

 

I often listen to 660 News while I am driving. I like this station because they tell me about local traffic and weather. I also really enjoy listening to 977 because they play a variety of music such as rock, pop, and country.  

 

 

Part 2

One of my favorite restaurants in Calgary is Sushi Motto. This is a Japanese restaurant located on 14^th and 16^th Ave SW, near my business and my house. This restaurant is relatively large and can seat many customers. The restaurant serves all types of Japanese food such as sushi, noodles, soups and meat. When I visit this restaurant, I often order different sushi rolls, with miso soup and tempura. I always try to order something new every time I go. During lunchtime, they offer a reasonably priced lunch special. This includes a little bit of everything such as salad, tempura, rolls, soup and much more. This is my favorite restaurant because the food is so delicious and the service is great!

 

 

Part 3 (Discussion topics)

 

내용 : Part 2에서 나온 주제와 관련하여 추상적인 주제로 대화하는 시간입니다. 간단한 대화라기 보다는 논의/토론 형식에 가까운 형태로 이루어져야 합니다.

주의사항 : 얼마나 examiner와 상대로 자신의 의견을 타당성 있게, 그리고 자신감을 가지고 논리적으로 전개하느냐가 중요합니다.

 

1.    Why is fast food so popular?

 

Fast food is so popular because it tastes really good. It is really cheap and it is served very quickly. Although, it is not healthy for you, many people still choose to eat this type of food.

 

2.    Will you cook for your friends when they visit you?

 

Yes, I will cook for my friends when they visit me. I love making big Korean dishes such as Bulgogi for my guests. Bulgogi is marinated beef strips with a sweet sauce. First, you slice the beef into thin strips and mix it with onions and pears. Then, you marinate it in soy sauce, sugar, green onions and garlic for 2 hours. Finally, you broil the seasoned beef until it is fully cooked. It is so delicious!

 

3. What is the difference between fresh food and canned food?

 

Canned food is not fresh. It is preserved in cans so that the food will last for long periods of time. I prefer to buy fresh food because it tastes better and is better for our health.
