Speaking의 평가기준은 응시자의 영어구사능력, 적절하고 알맞은 문법과

어휘력을 평가하며 효과적으로 커뮤니케이션 할 수 있는가를 측정하는 시험입니다.

Test에서 다루어지는 Topic은 충분히 예측할 수 있는 기존의 기출문제 안에서

준비할 수 있는 내용이며 많은 연습이 필요합니다.

 

이번 주에는 Part 1에서는 어린 시절과 여행에 관하여, Part 2, 3에서는 컴퓨터에 관하여 기출문제를 바탕으로 샘플답안을 올립니다.  샘플답안들은 저희 웹사이트 www.noble-academy.com 자유게시판에도 동시에 올리고 있습니다.

 

 

Part 1

 

내용 : 본인의 신상명세 및 개인생활에 대한 질문들이 나옵니다.

주의사항 : 의사소통에 중점을 두며 대화를 익숙하고 매끄럽게 이어가는 것이 중요합니다.

 

<Childhood>

 

1.      Tell me about your childhood.

당신의 어린시절에 관하여 말해 보세요.

 

I was born in Shin-An Island in South Korea. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters and I’m the youngest. All of my siblings are much older than me so I received a lot of love from my family.

 

I was born in Seoul, Korea. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. There were lots of children, so it was so much fun! I really enjoyed school. My favorite subject was Math! I was involved in many sports, such as soccer, swimming and tennis. I also love the outdoors; I loved to hike with my family.

 

I was born in Busan, South Korea. I have 1 brother and 1 sister. I’m the oldest so I had to be a good role model for my younger siblings.

 

I was born in Seoul, Korea. I’m an only child so I was always lonely. However, my parents tried to spend a lot of time playing with me.

 

2.      Did you have a happy childhood? / What do you remember from your childhood?

Yes, I had a really happy childhood. I remember competing in a “Speech Contest” at my elementary school. Most of the teachers liked me.

 

 Yes, I had a happy childhood. My family is very close. We had a lot of fun together and experienced many things.

 

When I was young, I received 100% average on my exams. My parents were so proud of me.

 

3.      Do you remember any particular friends from your early childhood? Tell me about him/her?

Soonyoung was my elementary school friend. She was pretty and very close to me. When I was in grade 5, I transferred to a school in another city. Unfortunately, we rarely talk on the phone; however, last year when I visited Korea, I met her again!

 

4.      Where did you spend your childhood?

I spent my childhood in Shin-An Island.

5.      What kind of a person were you as a child?

I think I was a cute and happy girl.

<Travel>

 

1.      Have you had the chance to travel abroad?

당신은 해외여행을 가 본적이 있나요?

 

Yes, I have. I have had many opportunities to travel abroad for business.

 

Yes, I have. I have had a few chances to travel abroad with my family.

 

No, I haven’t. I am always so busy so I haven’t had time to travel abroad. After getting a permanent resident in Canada, I would like to go to Europe with my family for a vacation.

 

2.      What countries have you been to?

어떤 나라를 가 보았나요?

      

       I have been to Australia, Japan, and Mexico.

 

3.      Where would you go if you could travel to any country in the world?

만약에 당신이 세계의 어떤 나라를 여행하게 된다면 어디로 가고 싶은지?

 

If I could travel to any country in the world, I would go to Spain. Spain has a rich culture and beautiful beaches. I would love to learn how to speak Spanish fluently.

 

4.      Do you think governments should promote tourism?

당신은 정부가 관광사업을 장려해야 한다고 생각하는가?

 

In my opinion, I think governments should promote tourism. Recently, tourism has become a very important resource that benefits local economies. 

 

Part 2

 

내용 : 1분동안 주어진 주제에 대해 생각을 정리하며 메모도 할 수 있는 시간이 주어지며, 1~2분 동안 정리된 내용에 대해 혼자서 얘기해야 합니다.

주의사항 : 질문의 핵심을 뚫은 대답과 논리적인 설명이 필요합니다. 불필요하거나 질문의 내용에서 동떨어진 것을 얘기하지 말아야 합니다.

A piece of equipment that I use often is my personal computer. I purchased this computer 4 years ago from Samsung. My computer is white and has a big screen! Although it was very expensive, it was definitely worth every penny. I use it every day for work, check my emails, watch videos, and sometimes play games. I have been shopping and banking online for a long time. Computers have changed my life significantly. I no longer need to leave my house to complete simple tasks. It is hard to imagine my life without a computer. I have become very dependent on it.

 

Part 3 (Discussion topics)

 

내용 : Part 2에서 나온 주제와 관련하여 추상적인 주제로 대화하는 시간입니다. 간단한 대화라기 보다는 논의/토론 형식에 가까운 형태로 이루어져야 합니다.

주의사항 : 얼마나 examiner와 상대로 자신의 의견을 타당성 있게, 그리고 자신감을 가지고 논리적으로 전개하느냐가 중요합니다.

 

1.  What kinds of equipment do most workers need to use in offices today?

대부분의 worker들이 오늘날 사무실에서 어떤 종류의 장비를 사용하는 것을 필요로 하나요?

 

I think that most workers need computers in their offices like me. They can use many kinds of programs, such as PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word. Also, they can get a lot of information on the internet.

 

2.   How have computers changed people’s lives?

컴퓨터가 사람들의 삶을 어떻게 바꿔 놓았나요?

 

Computers have made everything very simple. Life is much more convenient with computers. We can access any information online, we can send letters instantly to our friends and we can talk to anyone in the world for free. Computers will continue to develop and make life easier.
